Requirements

  • Active Nebraska Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification required
  • Current certification must be in good standing
  • Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care

  • Commitment to providing exceptional care and service to residents and their families
  • Qualified candidates will be certified nursing assistants.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
  • Promote resident independence, dignity, and quality of life
  • Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team
  • Provide emotional support, companionship, and encouragement
  • Assist residents during meals and with hydration as needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
  • Document resident care accurately and timely
  • Administer medications in accordance with regulations and facility policies (CMA)
  • Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other team members to provide exceptional resident care
