About The Position

The Certified Nursing Aide (CNA), also described as a Caregiver, provides in-home support to improve clients’ quality of life and offer comfort, dignity, and assistance. The position involves personal care, help with mobility and daily living, meal preparation and feeding, household tasks, companionship, and—when applicable—errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments. Caregivers promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment. The posting lists starting pay of $14.50 per hour and says daily pay is available. Weekly hours and schedule may grow based on the caregiver’s availability.

Requirements

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
• Ability to lift, stand, bend, and assist clients as needed, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Professional or personal experience providing care to elderly or disabled individuals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments when applicable.
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for each client.
