About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON), this role supports the coordination of the nursing aide schedule and assists with various clerical duties. The position involves providing assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting resident independence and dignity. The role requires connecting with residents and family members compassionately and engaging in continuous learning and development opportunities. Compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations is essential.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or GED equivalent required
  • Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity

Responsibilities

  • Supports coordination of the nursing aide schedule
  • Assists with various clerical duties as requested
  • Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity
  • Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
  • Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
  • Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
  • Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident and employee information
