Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and completed high school, obtained the equivalent of a high school education
Must be registered in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry with nothing pending against certification
Must possess the ability to speak to and be understood by residents and staff in English, and demonstrate the ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English
Must possess an agreeable and helpful attitude toward senior adults

Skilled Nursing experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Monitor and document residents’ health status and report any changes to nursing staff
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Assist with feeding residents and ensure their nutritional needs are met
Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff
Follow all safety and infection control protocols
Support the nursing team with routine tasks and patient care activities
