About The Position
Tonganoxie Terrace is actively hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct, hands-on care and support to residents. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in maintaining resident comfort, safety, and dignity. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will work closely with nursing staff and the care team to deliver consistent, high-quality care across all shifts.
Requirements
- Current state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care
- Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Long-term care experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance
- Assist residents with safe transfers, ambulation, and use of mobility devices
- Observe residents closely and report condition changes to nursing staff
- Support meals, hydration, and feeding as needed
- Promote resident dignity, comfort, and emotional well-being
- Follow infection control, safety, and documentation standards
