Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- CPR certification (required)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing or direct patient care (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Physical ability to reposition and assist residents safely
Nice To Haves
- Experience with elderly or bedridden residents, especially those with Alzheimer's or Dementia, is preferred
- Experience with catheters and enemas is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, toileting, eating, and mobility
- Monitor and accurately document vital signs such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and oxygen levels
- Observe and report changes in behavior, complaints, or symptoms to the supervising nurse or care team
- Maintain clean and comfortable living environments by changing bed linens, bedpans, and assisting with general room upkeep
- Collaborate with staff and resident support teams to provide consistent, high-quality care
