About The Position

This Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) position at Heritage Woods of Chicago involves providing exceptional and individualized care to residents according to their care plans. Key duties include assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting their independence and dignity, and promptly reporting any changes in their health status to the clinical team. The role also emphasizes compassionate interaction with residents and their families to create positive experiences. Continuous professional development is encouraged through participation in educational seminars and staff meetings, and strict adherence to confidentiality and privacy regulations for resident information is required. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

High School graduate or GED equivalent required
Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan
Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity
Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
Perform any other duties as assigned
