About The Position
The Home Health Aide - Licensed CNA provides personal care and assistance to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate is compassionate and caring, and able to work independently as well as as part of a team.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Texas.
- Experience working as a Home Health Aide or in a similar role.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration as directed by the patient's healthcare provider.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including using assistive devices such as walkers and wheelchairs.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Report changes in the patient's condition to the healthcare provider.
