About The Position

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, they offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans. As a Certified Nurses Assistant, you will work in a dynamic environment, supporting their mission by monitoring health conditions, providing training and assistance in daily living, personal care, financial management, community, and social integration. You will also help maintain safe and quality supports, assist with activity programs (including off-site outings and appointments), maintain documentation, and assist with household activities. You will make a difference every day and help to provide quality of life enhancing services to the individuals served. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 18 years of age or older
  • One year experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant, preferably working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a hospital, residential, clinical, and/or long-term care setting
  • Current Certified Nurse Assistant CPR/First Aid certification

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the health conditions of individuals served and ensure quality services are provided
  • Provide training, assistance, and/or supervision to individuals in the areas of daily living, personal care, financial management, community, and social integration
  • Help maintain safe and quality supports for individuals served
  • Assist with activity programs, including off-site outings and off-site appointments
  • Maintain current progress notes and other documentation
  • Assist with household activities such as housekeeping and meal preparation
