About The Position

Azalea Homecare is seeking a Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) to join their team in Stone Mountain. This is a caregiver-first organization that offers nurse-led mentorship, paid specialty certifications, and caregiver-first scheduling. The role involves delivering hands-on support to clients, promoting mobility and strength, monitoring health, providing medication cues, supporting daily life activities, and advocating for safety. Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED and active CNA license (state-specific)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain—employer-paid)
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and ability to lift/transfer clients
  • Basic computer/app skills for charting and communication
  • Empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to protecting client dignity and privacy

Responsibilities

  • Deliver hands-on support: assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and transfers.
  • Promote mobility & strength: help with range-of-motion exercises, walking, and physician-directed therapy routines.
  • Monitor health: check vital signs, track fluid/food intake, and report changes promptly.
  • Provide medication cues: remind clients to take meds as ordered and document compliance.
  • Support daily life: prepare nutritious meals, perform light housekeeping, run errands, and offer friendly companionship.
  • Advocate for safety: follow all infection-control and fall-prevention protocols, keep accurate EMR notes via our easy-to-use app.
