About The Position
Certified Nursing Assistants at The Glenview at Pelican Bay provide routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents at the Premier Place campus. The role is hospitality-focused and includes assisting residents with personal care, mobility, and other daily needs while following established policies and responding promptly to resident calls. The available schedule is PRN.
Requirements
- CNA experience.
- Ability to communicate efficiently in English using proper grammar and a pleasant manner.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must pass an extensive criminal background check and drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- High school graduation preferred.
- Typing experience with other business machines is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with dental and mouth care, including brushing teeth or dentures, oral hygiene, and special mouth care.
- Assist residents with bathing, including bed baths, tub baths, and showers, as directed.
- Assist residents with dressing and undressing as necessary.
- Lift, turn, move, position, and transport residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, and lifts.
- Participate in and receive the nursing report upon reporting for duty.
- Follow established policies concerning exposure to blood and body fluids.
- Weigh and measure residents as instructed.
- Answer resident calls as promptly as feasible.
- Provide courteous, attentive hospitality to residents, employees, and guests.
