About The Position
The Nursing Technician performs basic nursing care and procedures under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
Requirements
- Ability to read and write
- Currently enrolled in a practical nursing program or a student currently enrolled in a professional nursing program
- Previous experience working with patients
- One quarter of clinical experience as a student nurse
- Successful completion of a nurse aide course
- Experience from a related health care field
