About The Position
Radford Green at Sedgebrook, recognized as one of the top nursing homes in the country and the state, is seeking a hospitality-focused Certified Nurse's Assistant (CNA) to join their team. This role involves providing direct nursing care to residents and overseeing the care provided by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants. The community offers private rooms, a beautiful environment, and experienced staff.
Requirements
- Successful completion of an Illinois State approved nursing assistant training program.
- Registration with Illinois State registry required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
- Gives treatments, performs tests, carries out procedures and collects specimens as instructed.
- Reports and records observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures and specimens when indicated.
- Transfers, transports and escorts residents as need.
- Answers signal lights promptly.
- Changes bed linens, makes beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly.
