About The Position

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established team of 5 physicians and 3 midwives. Call structure: 1:4 share call with 24 hour shifts. Practice setting: mix of inpatient and outpatient. Access to Fisher's Hospital for deliveries. Employed position within a nonprofit health system. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Certified Nurse Midwife. Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration. Manage the labor and delivery experience with a focus on shared decision-making, ensuring a safe, supportive, and culturally sensitive environment for both the mother and newborn. Lead the clinical journey for women through all stages of life, providing expert primary and gynecological care that emphasizes wellness, prevention, and personalized health outcomes. Malpractice coverage with tail.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Certified Nurse Midwife
  • Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Nurse Midwife credentialed from the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Nurse Midwife credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Master's or Doctorate of Science in Nursing or Midwifery or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required.
