About The Position

Open Door Community Health Centers is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join their Redwood Pediatric & Women's Health Services (RPS) team in Eureka, California. The CNM will provide medical care and treatment to gynecological and obstetrical patients under the supervision of an Obstetrician or Family Practice Physician. This role offers an outpatient practice with excellent work-life balance, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for teaching, mentorship, and leadership. The position is based in Eureka, CA, a historic coastal city known for its access to outdoor recreation, vibrant arts scene, and strong sense of community.

Requirements

• Certification from an accredited graduate-level midwifery program leading to certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
• Current California certification in Certified Nurse Midwifery (CNM)
• Current DEA license
• Current CPR license
• Current Board Certification in specialty of practice (or board eligible if a newer graduate)
• Valid California driver's license with an insurable driving record

Nice To Haves

• High Risk OB experience preferred
• Dating US preferred
• Performed 40 deliveries in the past 12 months, preferred
