About The Position
A longstanding independent OB/GYN practice in eastern Massachusetts seeks a skilled Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to deliver holistic care from prenatal through postpartum stages and beyond, emphasizing patient empowerment in a team-oriented atmosphere.
Requirements
- Trained as a Midwife with a Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited program
- Certified as a Midwife (CNM) through the American Midwifery Certification Board
- Free and clear Midwife license to practice in Massachusetts
Responsibilities
- Triaging antenatal assessments and non-stress tests
- Supporting low-intervention labors at the partnered hospital's birthing center
- Conducting GYN evaluations and prescribing as needed
- Maintaining EMR documentation
- Offering breastfeeding and self-care guidance
- Co-managing cases with physicians
