University of Maryland Shore Regional Health, a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join their respected and growing women’s health team in Easton, MD. Requirements

  • Master of Science degree with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program required.
  • Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner required.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse required.
  • Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required.
  • DEA and CDS eligible.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience preferred, not required.
  • Preferred experience in midwifery
  • New graduates encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

  • Full-scope midwifery care in collaboration with our OB/GYN team
  • Provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and well-woman gynecologic care
  • Attend deliveries at UM Shore Medical Center at Easton
  • Shared call schedule for a balanced lifestyle
  • Strong support from experienced physicians, nurses, and medical staff
  • Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system
