About The Position
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent potential opportunity for a civilian or transitioning (from the Military) Certified Nurse Midwife at Lackland Air Force Base and San Antonio Medical health Services (SAMHS) market. This is an outpatient environment where the focus is on patient care, not administrative responsibilities. The role offers an outstanding work/life balance and freedom from on-call responsibilities. Requirements
- Master’s Degree in nursing from an accredited institution
- Graduate from a certified nurse midwife education program accredited by the American College of Nurse Midwives
- Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board - Certified Midwives obtain the national certification through the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) and should have proficient management of routine and high-risk births as outlined in the standards of practice with the American College of Nurse Midwives.
- Certified in the specialty required by the ANCC or AANP
- Full, current, unrestricted Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice license in any state, territory, commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
- Two years of experience in the specialty within the past three years
