About The Position

Hera Women’s Health is seeking exceptional, compassionate Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) to join their expanding midwifery team in Las Vegas, Nevada. The role involves being part of a new, six-person midwifery team providing care in both inpatient Labor & Delivery and eventual outpatient follow-ups. This position requires working collaboratively, three shifts per week, with Laborists and Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists. The goal is to build a comprehensive midwifery service that reflects the midwifery model of care. The team delivers at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, which has a 42-room Birth Center and Level III NICU, and fully supports the midwifery program.

Requirements

• Graduate of an ACNM-accredited Nurse-Midwifery program
• Current or eligible Nevada CNM license, DEA, and prescriptive authority
• Strong interpersonal communication and commitment to culturally responsive care

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife (New grads are welcome to apply).

Responsibilities

• Provide care in inpatient Labor & Delivery.
• Provide eventual outpatient follow-ups.
• Work collaboratively with Laborists and Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists.
• Help build a comprehensive midwifery service.
• Deliver care in alignment with the midwifery model of care.
