About The Position

Nursing Vault Plus Staffing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for an 11-week contract assignment in Maine. This position is for the night shift and requires providing critical care and support to residents during overnight hours. The role is for local candidates committed to excellence, reliability, and high-quality patient care.

Requirements

Active and unencumbered CNA license in the State of Maine.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
Must be a local resident within commuting distance of the facility (No travel/stipend packages available for this role).
Strong communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team, and physical stamina for 12-hour shifts.
Must be able to commit to the full 11-week contract and the 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM schedule.
Current BLS/CPR certification and up-to-date immunizations/background check.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality bedside care and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, bathing, and feeding.
Monitor and record vital signs and report any significant changes in resident condition to the nursing staff.
Assist with positioning, lifting, and transferring residents using proper body mechanics and safety equipment.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for all residents.
Ensure all documentation is accurate and completed in a timely manner according to facility policy.
Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs with a professional and empathetic demeanor.
