About The Position

The Certified Nurse Assistant supports and complements the nursing process under the direction of a Registered Nurse by providing patient care in a fast-paced Mother Baby environment. This registry position is in the Mother Baby PP GYN department and includes various 12-hour shifts, with holiday and weekend commitment. Registry employees who meet eligibility may participate in the 401(k) Savings plan with a potential match; registry employees are ineligible for Health and Welfare benefits. The expected pay is $20.00 per hour, with the final rate potentially higher based on factors such as licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, and market data.

Requirements

• Must be certified by the state of Illinois as a CNA and have completed a CNA certification program.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• CPR certified.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to care for patients with compassion and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hospital experience strongly preferred.
