About The Position

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a skilled care facility in Queens, New York. This full-time contract position is ideal for a compassionate and experienced CNA looking to make a meaningful impact in a long-term care setting. The role involves providing direct patient care, monitoring resident conditions, ensuring safety and comfort, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant training program.
Active New York State Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) license.
At least one (1) year of experience in a nursing home setting.
Immune to Hepatitis B (proof of immunity required).
Available to work every other Saturday and Sunday.
Flexible schedule.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work collaboratively with nursing staff and other team members.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions, including vital signs and overall well-being, to the nursing team.
Ensure resident safety and comfort throughout the night shift, responding promptly to call lights and resident needs.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent injury and promote resident independence.
Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and staff.
