About The Position

Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff. Duties include taking vital signs, bathing and dressing patients, moving patients, changing linens, and performing other duties as assigned. Obtain information about patient condition as requested by nursing staff and report any changes in patient condition. This position is in the Nursing Float Pool Branson and is scheduled for 36 hours per week, with hours of 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM on the day shift.

Requirements

• At least one of the following: 3 months of nursing assistant experience in an inpatient or long-term care setting, EMT, or Surgical Technologist experience within the past 3 years; completion of an Unlicensed Assistive Personnel Program within the past 3 years; completion of a fundamentals of nursing course with clinical in an accredited nursing or practical nursing education program; a Missouri CNA license; or a Missouri CNA Appendix, with the Missouri CNA license obtained within 120 days of hire.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valuable time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility and ability to work in a multitasking environment.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days.

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
