About The Position
Four Corners Regional Health Care Center in Blanding, UT is actively looking to hire a full-time CNA for a day shift (6 AM to 2 PM) position. Our goal in this skilled nursing facility (SNF) is to provide each patient with top-quality care, striving to maximize each patient's functional independence to safely discharge them to the next level of care. Requirements
- Effectively communicate on a personal level with residents, family members, personnel, visitors, etc.
- Able to make decisions independently when warranted
- Knowledge of medical and nursing practices and procedures
- Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to long term care
Responsibilities
- Answer residents' call lights to determine needs
- Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed
- Provide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercising
- Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diet
- Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
- Reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff
