About The Position

The PACE Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) are responsible for providing the highest quality of skilled and non-skilled care in the PACE day center where the participants participate in activities, socialize, and enjoy lunch together. The CNA will follow the established plan-of-care for each participant that may include ADL activities, monitoring vital signs, and communicating any concerns or changes to the proper IDT member. PACE or Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly is a federal and state funded program that provides comprehensive, coordinated, and proactive whole-person care to help maintain and improve seniors' health so they can live safely in their homes. The number of people aged 55+ is increasing in Grand Junction, CO and the demand for eldercare professionals is on the rise.

Requirements

Current and valid Colorado Certified Nurse Assistants license, maintained throughout employment.
CPR Certification maintained throughout employment.
Current ServSafe Food Protection certification or obtained within first month of employment.

Nice To Haves

6 months prior CNA experience.
Experience working with older adults.
Experience working with clients who have some cognitive impairment.
