About The Position
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) | Night Shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) Hemingford Care Center | Hemingford, NE Be the Calm, Steady Support Our Residents Count On Hemingford Care Center is hiring a full-time CNA for our night shift team. In this role, you'll provide hands-on care and comfort when residents need it most-ensuring safety, dignity, and peace of mind through the night. Requirements
- Active CNA certification in good standing (Nebraska)
- Clear communication and a respectful approach with residents and families
- Ability to work independently and stay attentive during overnight hours
- Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented mindset
- Understanding of long-term care practices and regulations
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to call lights and assist with resident needs
- Help with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility)
- Turn and reposition residents to maintain comfort and prevent skin issues
- Monitor food and fluid intake as directed
- Follow dietary guidelines, allergies, and preferences
- Observe and report changes in condition to the nursing team
- Support a clean, safe, and respectful environment
