As a member of the Health Support Center (HSC) team, you’ll support those that are in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members to positively impact our mission of making communities healthier ®. More about our team. Join our busy 20-bed ED with an additional 6 patient processing bays and a 6-bed Crisis Stabilization Unit for Behavioral Health patients. With a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4/5, our diverse staff includes RNs, LPNs, CNAs, Paramedics, Unit Secretaries and Providers whose goal is to create a collaborative environment to deliver exceptional care. We take pride in our facility being a Certified Chest Pain and Primary Stroke Center. With an average daily census of 106 patients, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-quality emergency medical care in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Current state NA I license
  • Completed NA course from an accredited school
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience preferred
  • Compassionate nursing assistant with a deep understanding of critical care principles and advanced patient monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately identifies patient needs
  • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
  • Responsible for activities of daily living
