About The Position

The McAuley is looking for a part-time C.NA certified Wellness Assistant. We have two opportunities available: Day Shift 16-hour position that is every Saturday and every other Sunday 7-3 and a Per Diem position. As a Wellness Assistant, your responsibilities extend beyond care – it's a commitment to enhancing lives. You will support residents with their daily living activities, focusing on those with chronic and stable conditions.

Requirements

C.NA Certificate in the State of Connecticut
HS Diploma or equivalent
Strong focus and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

Home health care experience preferred

Responsibilities

Support residents with their daily living activities, focusing on those with chronic and stable conditions.
Lifting, carrying, and assisting with residents up to 250 pounds.
Standing or walking for most of an eight-hour shift.
Performing tasks requiring hand-eye coordination.
Wearing protective equipment.
Distinguishing sounds.
Reaching or bending for items.
Reading small print.
Maintaining clear communication.
Interacting with residents, staff, and the public.
