About The Position

We are hiring dedicated, compassionate Nurse Aides, CNAs, and Caregivers to provide resident-focused, quality care for the elder Franciscan sisters. Seeking a Casual-scheduled Nurse Aide/CNA position on afternoons (3:00 pm - 9:00 pm) at our Enfield convent home located on 1315 Enfield Street. Schedule: Week 1: Saturday, Week 2: Sunday. We offer annual % pay increases, paid time off (PTO), yearly PTO payout, up to $1000 employee referral bonuses, and more! The hourly pay rate for this position is $18.23 - $30.59 for Nurse Aides and CNAs. Wages/pay rate will be determined based on factors such as CNA certification, the candidate's relevant work experience/qualifications, and internal equity. Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

• Current or lapsed Certified Nurse Aide certification on file with the state in which the health services are located is a PLUS but not required.
• Long-term resident care or home care experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with dementia patients a plus.
• Schedule flexibility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to elder Franciscan sisters including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, dining, transporting, and restorative care.
• Documents care for sisters as required.
• Communicates with residents, family members, management, and staff to ensure resident quality care.
• Assists and collaborates with the nursing staff with duties related to the ongoing needs of the residents according to established standards.
• Strives to support the religious life of sisters by contributing to providing a warm and caring convent environment.
• Engages in quality interpersonal experiences with sisters and engages in meaningful interactions during the course of every day.
• Works with other departments to achieve sister satisfaction and a thriving living and working environment.
