Certified Nurse Aide (CNA), Nurse Aide, part-time overnights
About The Position
We are hiring dedicated, compassionate Nurse Aides, CNAs, and Caregivers to provide resident-focused, quality care for the elder Franciscan sisters. Seeking a Part-time Nurse Aide/CNA position on overnights (9:45 pm - 6:15 am) at our Enfield convent home located on 1315 Enfield Street. Schedule Week 1: Sunday and Thursday Schedule Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. Our employees in all departments work together to strive to support the religious life of sisters by contributing to providing a warm and caring convent environment. We believe care partners in all departments should be able to engage in quality interpersonal experiences with sisters and engage in meaningful interactions during the course of every day. We recognize that teamwork and maintaining partnerships among all departments are critical to achieving sister satisfaction and attaining a thriving living and working environment.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- Current or lapsed Certified Nurse Aide certification on file with the state in which the health services are located is a PLUS but not required.
- Long-term resident care or home care experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience working with dementia patients a plus.
- Schedule flexibility is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct care to elder Franciscan sisters including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, dining, transporting, and restorative care.
- Documents care for sisters as required.
- Communicates with residents, family members, management, and staff to ensure resident quality care.
- Assists and collaborates with the nursing staff with duties related to the ongoing needs of the residents according to established standards.
