About The Position

Focused Post Acute Care Partners (FPACP) is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join their team in Midland, TX. FPACP is a company focused on providing excellent long-term care and has a unique recognition program called ROCKStar (Recognizing Outstanding Care and Kindness). This program uses gamification to reward team members. The CNA will be responsible for assisting residents with daily living activities to promote their independence and dignity.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Must have current Nurse Aide certification in the state of Texas
Must be in good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry in the state of Texas and Misconduct Registry
Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English
Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents

Responsibilities

Ensure resident safety.
Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress appropriately, nail care of any residents assigned.
Follow resident assignment schedule as made out by the charge nurse.
Lift, move, and transfer residents as required.
Answer call lights in a timely manner.
Assist or feed residents.
Keep resident clean and dry, toileting or providing incontinent care.
Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents.
Other duties as assigned.
Utilize electronic medical records charting; point click care.
