About The Position
Western Tidewater Community Service Board (WTCSB) is seeking Full-Time Certified Nurse Aides for their Assisted Living Facility and Memory Care Unit in Suffolk, VA. WTCSB's mission is to provide a coordinated system of quality recovery-oriented care in Mental Health, Intellectual Disability, and Substance Abuse Services to the citizens of Franklin, Suffolk, Isle of Wight, and Southampton. Requirements
- Licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable DMV record.
- Proficient using Electronic medical records.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
- Long term Care experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare Regulations preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct consumer care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and assisting with medication.
- Document progress and activities, tasks performed, and response to care.
- Report any consumer condition changes to the RN and Program Supervisor.
- Serve as a role model, provide guidance and assist with medication management under the direction of the RN, LPN, and Pharmacist.
- Comply with agency policies and procedures, and adhere to all relevant local, state, and federal legal and regulatory requirements.
- Transport consumers as necessary.
