About The Position

Visiting Angels Kirkland is seeking compassionate, certified, and experienced Caregiver Angels to join their award-winning team serving residents of King County. This role involves working one-on-one with clients in their homes to ensure they can remain safe, comfortable, and independent. Client care can range from companionship and light hands-on assistance to heavy hands-on personal care for bed-bound individuals and end-of-life hospice care with nurse delegation. Responsibilities may include assisting clients with errands, light housekeeping, medication reminders, meal planning/cooking, personal care, and providing companionship. The agency offers a variety of shifts, including short, long, overnight, and live-in options, and works around the caregiver's availability and preferred work locations. This is an opportunity to work for a home care agency that has been serving the greater King County area for over 20 years.

Requirements

  • Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) or Home Care Aide (HCA) License or Exemption Letter with Active NAR.
  • Driver's License if applicable.
  • Work Authorization: United States (Required).
  • Must be 18 years or older.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a Caregiver.
  • Homecare Aide Certification Training available for those not certified.
  • Nursing students looking to enhance caregiving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work 1-on-1 with clients in their home to ensure they are able to remain safe, comfortable and independent.
  • Provide companionship.
  • Provide light hands-on assistance.
  • Provide heavy hands-on bed bound personal care.
  • Provide end of life hospice care with nurse delegation.
  • Assist clients with errands.
  • Perform light housekeeping.
  • Provide medication reminders.
  • Assist with meal planning and cooking.
