About The Position

We are hiring dedicated, compassionate Nurse Aides, CNAs, and Caregivers to provide resident-focused, quality care for elder Franciscan sisters in a convent home facility in Lodi, NJ. These are casual/per diem positions, picking up on evening (2:00 pm to 10:30 pm) and night shifts (10:00pm - 6:30am). Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

• Current or lapsed Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification is a PLUS but not required.
• Long-term resident care or home care experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to elder Franciscan sisters including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, dining, transporting, and restorative care.
• Documents care for residents as required.
• Communicates with residents, family members, management, and staff to ensure quality care.
• Assists and collaborates with the nursing staff with duties related to the ongoing needs of the residents according to established standards.
• Supports the religious life of sisters by contributing to providing a warm and caring convent environment.
• Engages in quality interpersonal experiences with sisters and meaningful interactions during the course of every day.
• Works in partnership with all departments to achieve sister satisfaction and a thriving living and working environment.
