About The Position

The Certified Nurse Aide will provide support to the nursing staff and providers to room patients and gather information necessary for the visit. This position has good working conditions in general; the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Requirements

• Proficiency in all applicable computer skills
• Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records
• Experience in a health care environment
• Customer service experience
• North Dakota Nurse Aide Registration required.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a patient advocate at all times in the delivery of patient care
• Escort patients to exam room, interview patients, collect vital signs & necessary information in order to facilitate the provider visit
• Ensure all related reports, labs and other information is filed in the EMR prior to the patient appointment
• Communicate with nursing staff as to needs of patient and/or provider
• Support organization as needed
