About The Position
Certified Nurse Aide Needed for Home Care in Montgomery, TX. Day, Evening, Night, and Weekend shifts available, ranging from 4 hours up to 12 hours in length. Also serving Tomball, Magnolia, Woodlands, Spring, Conroe, and other surrounding areas. Requirements
- Current Texas CNA certification in good standing
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within the last year
- Must be dependable, compassionate, and professional
- Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in client condition
- Take and record vital signs when required
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with medication reminders
- Transport clients to appointments and errands as needed
- Follow individualized care plans and agency policies
