About The Position

Visiting Angels is seeking compassionate, certified, and experienced Caregiver Angels to join their award-winning team. They offer flexibility, meaningful work with seniors, and a supportive environment. The role involves working one-on-one with clients in their homes to ensure they can remain safe, comfortable, and independent. Client care includes companionship, light to heavy hands-on personal care, end-of-life hospice care with nurse delegation, errands, light housekeeping, medication reminders, meal planning/cooking, and personal care. The agency serves residents of King County, including Seattle, North Seattle, West Seattle, South Seattle, Kirkland, Bellevue, Redmond, Bothell, Woodinville, Sammamish, Shoreline, and Des Moines.

Requirements

  • Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) or Home Care Aide (HCA) license
  • Active NAR (Nursing Assistant Registry)
  • Driver's License if applicable
  • Work Authorization: United States (Required)
  • Must be 18 years or older

Nice To Haves

  • Homecare Aide Certification Training is offered if not certified
  • Experience as a Caregiver Angel
  • Nursing students looking to enhance caregiving skills

Responsibilities

  • Work 1-on-1 with clients in their home
  • Ensure clients are able to remain safe, comfortable and independent
  • Provide companionship
  • Provide light hands-on assistance
  • Provide heavy hands-on bed bound personal care
  • Provide end of life hospice care with nurse delegation
  • Assist clients with errands
  • Perform light housekeeping
  • Provide medication reminders
  • Assist with meal planning and cooking
  • Provide personal care
