About The Position

Focused Post Acute Care Partners (FPACP) is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join their team at Focused Care at Beechnut in Houston, TX. FPACP is a dynamic company focused on providing excellent long-term care. The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities to promote independence and dignity. The company has a recognition program called ROCKStar (Recognizing Outstanding Care and Kindness) which includes a gamification component for team members to level up and attend an annual gala. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Current Nurse Aide certification in the state of Texas
Must be in good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry in the state of Texas and Misconduct Registry
Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English
Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents

Responsibilities

Assisting residents with activities of daily living to promote resident independence and dignity.
Ensuring resident safety.
Bathing, showering, shampooing, shaving, combing hair, dressing appropriately, and nail care of assigned residents.
Following resident assignment schedule as made out by the charge nurse.
Lifting, moving, and transferring residents as required.
Answering call lights in a timely manner.
Assisting or feeding residents.
Keeping residents clean and dry, toileting or providing incontinent care.
Providing supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents.
Utilizing electronic medical records charting; point click care.
Other duties as assigned.
