About The Position
New London Specialty Care, a 46-bed long-term care skilled nursing community in New London, Iowa, is hiring a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to serve as a bath aide on the day shift. The role supports residents with daily living activities, health monitoring, companionship, and recreational and therapeutic activities while helping maintain a clean and safe care environment. The position is full-time and offers a competitive hourly rate. Requirements
- Hold an active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in Iowa, or be able to activate certification.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to resident care, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Have a compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Support residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Provide emotional support and companionship while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
- Communicate with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
- Monitor residents’ health, including conducting routine vital checks.
- Encourage and facilitate recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance residents’ health and daily routines.
- Follow infection control protocols to help maintain a clean and safe environment.
