About The Position

Iris Memory Care of Edmond is seeking a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) to join their evening team. This role involves providing hands-on, compassionate care to seniors living with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia in a freestanding memory care assisted living community. The community is intimate, allowing team members to know each resident personally. The position offers a full-time schedule from Sunday to Thursday, 11pm to 7pm.

Requirements

• Active listing on the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Reliable work history

Nice To Haves

• Minimum one year of experience working with older adults
• Experience in memory care or with dementia residents
• Genuine warmth, patience, and compassion for those living with memory loss
• Ability to meet continuing education and certification requirements for your position

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, compassionate care that helps residents live with dignity, comfort, and joy.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal care, dining, and mobility.
• Support residents with life enrichment activities and social-recreational programming.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean, comfortable, home-like environment.
• Offer emotional and physical comfort and support to residents and families.
• Uphold each resident’s dignity, privacy, independence, and individuality at all times.
