Requirements

Must be age 21 years or older
Current and active New Jersey CNA certification
1 or more years of experience working in an assisted living or long-term care setting
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Applicants for this position must be able to produce a negative drug test.
Applicants may be subject to a background check.
Employees in this position must be able to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position.

Responsibilities

Support residents with daily living activities, including grooming, dressing, and personal comfort in a memory care setting
Follow individualized service plans and complete required documentation
Perform routine resident check-ins to promote safety, engagement, and well-being
Assist residents during meals and with mobility and assistive devices as needed
Build meaningful relationships with residents and encourage participation in daily routines and activities
Collaborate with team members to provide a positive, person-centered memory care experience
Share resident preferences and observations with appropriate staff to support individualized care
