About The Position
We are hiring dedicated, compassionate Nurse Aides, CNAs, and Caregivers to provide resident-focused, quality care for elder Franciscan sisters in a convent home environment in Chicago (West Peterson Ave, 60659, near neighborhoods of Lincolnwood and North Park). Part-time Nurse Aide/CNA position for the following schedule (schedule may be flexible as per applicant's needs): Week 1: Daylight (6:00am-2:30pm) Sunday and Thursday; Afternoon (2:00pm -10:30pm) - Saturday Week 2: Afternoon (2:00pm-10:30pm) Sunday and Monday; Daylight (6:00am-2:30pm) - Thursday. Our Nurse Aide / CNA / Caregiver provides patient-centered care to elder Franciscan sisters including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, dining, transporting, and restorative care. Our Nurse aides are responsible for documenting care for our sisters as required and communicating with residents, family members, management, and staff to ensure resident quality care. This position also assists and collaborates with the nursing staff with duties related to the ongoing needs of the residents according to established standards. Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Current or lapsed Certified Nurse Aide certification on file with the state in which the health services are located is a PLUS but not required.
- Long-term resident care or home care experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
- Provides patient-centered care to elder Franciscan sisters including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, dining, transporting, and restorative care.
