Requirements
- Completion of a state-approved CENA program
- Current Michigan CENA certification
- Strong communication skills and a heart full of empathy
- Team player attitude and a “let’s get it done” spirit
- Physical stamina and emotional strength—you bring calm in the chaos
- A genuine desire to make our residents feel respected, cared for, and valued
- CNA License
Responsibilities
- Help residents with daily activities like bathing, dressing, eating, and grooming
- Provide emotional support, smiles, and compassionate companionship
- Take and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Ensure resident rooms are clean, comfortable, and safe
- Work side-by-side with nurses, therapists, and other teammates to ensure top-quality care
