Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Part-time Overnights
About The Position
We are hiring dedicated, compassionate Nurse Aides, CNAs, and Caregivers to provide person centered, resident-focused, quality care for elder Franciscan sisters. This is a part-time position on overnights (9:45 pm - 6:15 am) in a convent home environment in Enfield, CT. Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Current or lapsed Certified Nurse Aide certification on file with the state in which the health services are located is a PLUS but not required.
- Long-term resident care or home care experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct care to elder Franciscan sisters including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, dining, transporting, and restorative care.
- Documents care for sisters as required.
- Communicates with residents, family members, management, and staff to ensure quality care for every sister.
- Assists and collaborates with the nursing staff with duties related to the ongoing needs of the residents according to established standards.
- Supports the religious life of sisters by contributing to providing a warm and caring convent environment.
- Engages in quality interpersonal experiences with sisters and engages in meaningful interactions during the course of every day.
- Maintains partnerships among all departments to achieve sister satisfaction and a thriving living and working environment.
