About The Position
Join Our Team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Provide Compassionate Care and Support to Residents We’re seeking a reliable and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team! This role requires strong attendance, multitasking skills, and a professional, cooperative demeanor. You’ll play a key role in supporting our residents with daily care while working closely with the care team to provide high-quality service.
Requirements
- Holds a current Nursing Assistant Certification from the State of Texas
- Can accurately record information and perform technical procedures
- Communicates well and demonstrates self-discipline and patience
- Genuinely cares for the elderly and individuals with disabilities
- Understands and upholds the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities
- Follows all safety policies and procedures
Responsibilities
- Assist with grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare, and dressing, following care policy guidelines
- Change linens and ensure grooming supplies are stocked
- Safely ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics
- Accurately document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption
- Turn and reposition residents routinely for comfort and safety
- Lead range of motion exercises and provide reality orientation as directed
