We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Nurse Aide to provide care and support to residents during the quiet hours of the night, valuing dignity, safety, and attentive care.
Requirements
- Must be a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) with a valid Kansas certification
- Must have CPR certification
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and attentive overnight
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care needs such as hygiene, grooming, and repositioning
- Monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes to the licensed nursing staff
- Provide support with toileting, transfers, and mobility
- Maintain a clean, safe, and restful environment for residents
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records as required
- Respond to call lights and ensure resident comfort during overnight hours
- Communicate respectfully with residents and work collaboratively with overnight team members
- Adhere to infection control policies and follow all safety procedures
