About The Position
ProHealth Rehabilitation Hospital of Wisconsin is a state-of-the-art, 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital that is the result of a partnership between ProHealth Care and Lifepoint Rehabilitation to meet the growing rehabilitation needs of the region. Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. We strive to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.
Requirements
- Completion of course for nursing assistants
- Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant
- CPR/BCLS certification required within 7 days of hire
Nice To Haves
- Six months of experience in an acute or long-term facility preferred
Responsibilities
- Assists nursing staff with patients’ personal care, emotional support, and activities of daily living.
- More complex duties performed under supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
