Requirements
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you’ll provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
- Develop close relationships with clients while you help them with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
- Provide household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
- Assist with range of motion/exercises.
- Assist with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices).
- Provide medication reminders.
- Perform vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration.
