About The Position
Iris Memory Care of Tulsa is a small, freestanding assisted living community dedicated entirely to residents living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. We’re looking for compassionate CNAs who want to make a real difference - every shift, every day. At Iris Memory Care of Tulsa, you won’t be just another CNA on a large long-term care facility. You’ll be a familiar, trusted face to residents who need consistency and connection.
Requirements
- Active listing on the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry - CNA certification required
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 18 years of age
- Genuine compassion for people living with Alzheimer’s and dementia
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year of experience working with older adults preferred
- Experience in memory care or with dementia residents strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining
- Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and their families
- Support life enrichment activities, outings, and social programming
- Monitor and document vital signs and weights as required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and home-like environment
- Uphold the dignity, independence, and individuality of every resident
