About The Position
North Carolina Nurse Aide I provides patient care to include but not limited to, assistance with activities of daily living, vital signs and Accu-checks while under the supervision and direction of the nurse. FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Requirements
- Certification: Nursing Assistant I
- BLS
Responsibilities
- Monitor vital signs/blood sugars
- Assists patients with activities of daily living; Document and report abnormal findings or changes in patient condition
- Measure and document input/output and weights
- Assist nurse as needed
- Answer call lights
- Assist with patient admission, transfer and discharge
- Provide care appropriate to the condition/age of the patient
- Distribute drinks and/or snacks
- Maintain clean and neat patient room and work environment.
- All other duties as assigned
